Why? How would that make a difference in who they name? Presumably they’ll chose the best options for the individual and those will be the best options for the team.

Either way, if they follow what they did in the past, I think maybe they’ve already asked. @Karen-W would know better than I do. I know they ask about 4CC before bats, but I wasn’t sure if they asked about team event at the same time.

Given that USFS had the banner with the logo of the movie ready, I think it was a PR stunt. But Ilyia seemed to like it.

All the skaters/teams fill out a form for USFS prior to Nats indicating whether or not they want to be considered for the TE and which segments they're willing to do. But that doesn't mean there haven't been conversations about whether he's open to doing both segments.

I was just thinking that! NBC may want Ilia, Tomoki and Max. And, USFS may want that as well. Can you imagine anybody skating after Max in the Olympics? Especially with NBC doing all it can to make Max cry in the KnC? Instant advancement.
