Petrosian interesting. She really shut down, you could tell at some point that she just didn’t want to be there and I hope that is reflected in her score. I like her elements, but she needs more flow and relating to the music. She’s still young, who knows, we might see her again before Eteri team burns her out.

You know it's bad when Johnny isn't tongue bathing the Russians. Yes I know he's been parading his vyshyvanka shirt at Milan-Cortano, but I remember his defense of Eteri's school and methods.

Russian Nats are pretty packed. Of course she wasn't great and shouldn't have won Nats this year but they GOE'd and PCS'd the hell out of her to keep her first.

Big change for him from the early days, at least as far as I remember.

Even ignoring the no quads/3a I think the 3A girls or Kamila were nicer to watch (and a couple of them weren't that impressive other than the jumps). I haven't seen anything that made me think Petrosian was ever a medal threat.

She's not bad, but the skating is choppy, and it just doesn't stand up with some of the other fabulous skates we've seen today. This must have been so hard for her though, hope she can walk away feeling good about it.

Also for those saying the TES was dropping, keep in mind her 3 jump combo had a * on the final 2A originally, so it did jump back up a bit.
