Awwww Deanna and Max! Started off shaky but got stronger. I just love her skating…lines, presentation. Gorgeous red dress. What an inspiration to come back so late in life (for a skater). So glad they made it to the Olympics.

I'm glad Deanna and Max were able to skate even though it was not at the level they usually do.

Deanna is crying. I know it's hard for her to be in this position after being world champs a few years ago, but I'm just glad they made it here. Even before the injury, they really didn't have a shot at a medal. So them being here is the most important thing.

Not perfect but Deanna is just a star. Loved the look she and Max shared after the throw loop, like "We're at the Olympics and doing this!" They really came alive after that moment.

Well done, Deanna and Max. Deanna's tears made me turn on the waterworks too. I'm so happy that they were able to accomplish their dream of being Olympians. It truly is amazing.

It was really nice toward the end of the program to see them smile so genuinely and enjoy themselves.

They are both incredible people (Max is a very active supporter of adult skating in Canada) and I'm happy to see them happy.

Shame about the errors but hopefully they've had a great first Olympics, I hope they will carry on for another one.

Deanna is such a bad ass. Even though it wasn’t as clean as they wanted it was still an enjoyable skate. I’m in awe of their grit and determination to make it to the Olympics. For that, they should be so very proud.
