I've maintained since he debuted it at Lombardia that it was the wrong choice - it was entirely too calculated and manufactured to ever produce a genuine Olympic moment even had he skated it clean.

I wish he had won too. Two individual Olympic silver medals for him in a row now. Maybe it will finally turn to gold in 2030 but he'll have his work cut out for him.
