NHL's 4 Nations Face-Off, which replaced their All-Star Game this season. Canada, USA, Sweden & Finland. Round-robin play in Montreal at Bell Centre on Feb 13 & 15 with the final match being Canada-USA tonight. Round-robin play finishes on Monday at TD Garden in Boston with 3rd place & championship games on Thursday, also in Boston.

USA won their opener against Finland 6-1 & beat Canada tonight 3-1, so they're automatically in for the championship game. Canada beat Sweden 4-3 in OT for their opener, and Finland beat Sweden 4-3 in OT earlier today. So, Monday's game between Canada & Finland will determine who gets to the championship game for another go-round with the USA.

The NHL really lucked into the most entertaining sporting event of the month with this tournament.
