Seriously - don't know why I'm watching this. I always find this ceremonies too long and drawn out and imo really boring, with lots of just standing around. Time to switch to something else.

We still have a long ways to go but so far, I feel like this is everything that Paris 2024 thought their opening ceremony would be but failed, epically, to actually be. Avant garde, a celebration of music, art, fashion, culture, yet so classy rather than crass.
