Ice resurfacing after 1st of 3 groups of Jr Women SP - the results so far:

2 6 1 Kaydee Kallay AB/NT/NU 24.08 21.90 0.00 -1.00 44.98

6 4 1 Mila Marleau ON 17.33 19.10 1.00 -1.00 36.43

Quinn had a rough skate, going for a more difficult combo with the triple flip (she did a turn out before trying the triple toe which looked downgraded and a fall). The loop had a bit of a stumble too. Still she has a huge smile and sold the program.

Krouzkevitch fell on the loop but since it was rotated she still got the bonus. The rest was good and she's in second. She changed coaches to Paul Parkinson who was with her in the kiss and cry.

Quinn had a rough skate, going for a more difficult combo with the triple flip (she did a turn out before trying the triple toe which looked downgraded and a fall). The loop had a bit of a stumble too. Still she has a huge smile and sold the program.
I was confused as Quinn hasn’t skated but then realized you meant Hannah LOL..

Carissa has great presentation skills, a more mature skater than the others and nice to see. Great performance. Just one error on the combo.

Quinn Startek also had a rough skate, falling on the triple lutz so no combo. A very talented and charming skater though.

That was a great skate from Victoria Barakhtina. She is definitely a contender for the junior worlds spot.
That was a good skate, hopefully the long is as good. Is Lia old enough yet for Junior Worlds? I think her and Quinn S. are same age? Victoria would be a safe bet, she is a lovely skater and that maturity helps.

Oh she’s three weeks too old for this years worlds, okay so even though same age as Quinn she has her birthday later after the July 1st cut off.
ETA.. I mean too ‘young’

She is still too young (not too old).
She has to wait until next season.

In case of "bad timing" my subscription tickets to Broadway-Across-Canada with a friend mean that I will be at the National Arts Centre watching "Clue, The Musical" this evening. I will check the results later.

I'm really impressed that Quinn Startek pulled off a double axel triple sal combo near the end of the program. A fall on a downgraded triple flip but the rest was all positive GOE on the live scoring. So much potential.

She looked so happy with her performance - good for her!

A shame about the two falls because Adlem did some huge jumps to open her program with some of the highest GOE so far. She had a very cute and delayed fist pump after the program. Ted is raving about her (he's obviously biased when talking about skaters from BC)

Oh the top two are so close.
Adlem wasn't on the next gen team this but based on this she really should get an international opportunity.
