Every time I read the thread about TE strategies and karen-w says that USA will have to split the Men and Dance after saying "that will never happen" I think about what you should threaten us with if you turn out to be right and we were wrong.

The music is meh, the choreography could be amped but they are so. good. Please, IAM, just give them what they deserve. Matched so well, depth of edge is so good, always so sure of placement with each other.

Yeah but even with that they've cut it differently, the I love you's from the Everything Everywhere All At Once soundtrack don't show up in the version of Clair de Lune from that soundtrack. I'm a big fan of Son Lux and EEAAO so I've listened to the score a bunch.

I just mean it's not the straight Clair de Lune by Debussy. I didn't remember all that about the EEAAO soundtrack though I think you've explained it before. As it's not the first time we've seen this program and people have said WTF? But I should have. Remembered that is.

F/A definitely need more interesting packaging. It’s holding them back while their technique is so advanced. Just bogus that their TES is lower than the Koreans.

Browns

The best free dance in recent memory. Choreography and performance marks should be through the roof. I said it before and I still think this is the best complete package of a program since the Ch elements all came in. Give all the points for the dumb Ch elements while you're at it, too.

I don't see why this program isn't scoring in the 9's choreographically and performance-wise. Really I don't. We sat in front of their coach during a later segment at Nationals and raved about how good it is, for a long amount of time and he kept saying 'well we think it's very good'. NO this is top level IJS skating.

Browns have one of the few good character steps. Max out that GOE please.

I love this program so much. And I swear it's the best they've skated it. Everything flows into the next move and it's so intricate. They got good levels too.

I honestly didn't think a scenario would exist where the Browns would have one of my favourite programs of a season but here we are. This is a great program, they perform it so well and I just really enjoy watching it every time I've seen it.

Excellent composition using holds, varying the planes of movement, and using the choreography to tell a story.

Love love love the beginning of the program. So strong on some of the elements, rotational lift especially. Curve + curve starts so brilliantly, don't love the second half position But the packaging and the choice they make to end the program just loses me. Story of this camp almost always.

This SHOULD go behind the Browns but the judges don't reward the Browns enough for where they excel.

I really am preferring the programs of GreeP to CarPon this season and maybe even the Browns.

I love this team but this is not a good outing for them. Too many little glitches. That last lift in particular was bad.

Fairly messy skate today.

I was surprised to read that they (he) are planning to continue next quad. I’m not convinced his body will hold up after all the health problems he’s had.

Put me firmly on the boat of they were so overhyped for mediocre skating in the last few years, but they have REALLY stepped it up. So much use of their entire bodies, close together, in time, so precise and perfectly placed. Their twizzles are infinitely better than that of Chock/Bates, for example, and she's been doing dance for just an Olympic cycle. The lifts have more difficulty in and out and hit better positions more efficiently.

I said it at Nationals that I think looking down all criteria for the programs, they are actually the best in the US. Definitely this FD is better than the champions.
