Who are your predictions to land on the podium in Boston for the World Championships?
Sure, but given the way both CAN & JPN have had less-than-stellar/clean skates all season, I'd say one needs to factor that into one's predictions & bet on the one with more feck-ups fecking up again in Boston & relinquishing a podium spot to ITA.This is fairly simple - CAN, GER, JPN on the podium, unless there are feck-ups

We could have three world champions battling for the medals if ConMac win in Boston too. Just sayin'...hoping the Germans can get the gold cause then we can go into the Olympics with three world champions battling for medals.
the Georgians can put some real pressure on the top pairs this next season, would luv to see them on the podium.
my long shot for the Worlds podium would be Lia and Trennt.![]()
ok, I'd be happy with that. the more the merrierWe could have three world champions battling for the medals if ConMac win in Boston too. Just sayin'...

I agree. After HV's stellar performance and standing ovation it was kind of anticlimactic for the Japanese to win, but I'm confident HV will come back even stronger next season.I'm probably in the minority here, but I really thought Hasse and Volodin had and should've had it -- even with their sketchy closing lift. IMO, this was less glaring than the more numerous and more visible (to my eye, anyway) little errors that Miura & Kihara had -- particularly that second 2Axel from her. It was clearly two-footed and underrorated, but when I saw that they had won the title nonetheless I knew that the technical specialist didn't call the carrot. Just checked the protocols now and confirmed.
Well done by the US pairs hitting the magic 13! Of course, question remains whether Efimova can get her US citizenship by then. Highly doubt it, so I think it is prudent for the USFSA to assign its other age eligible teams to events in the Fall to gain required minima and the necessary international experience.

I'm indifferent to them also.Count me as someone else who though the title belonged to H/V. I'm also in the minority in regard to the JPN team. I feel indifferent watching them and I feel that there are certain skaters / teams who are sacrosanct on FSU; I feel you are almost not allowed to dislike them.
