3A tight
3Lz+3T tight

Nice speed & positions on the spins and already in the first group a lot more dedication to choreography and held landings than we see in most of the rest of the world

The first skater of the night where I didn't really sense much listening to the music.

All by myself male voice cover

not the best technical content but presentation was so-so

Sing, sing, sing with a green vest

An axel step out, a flip bit short of rotation, spins rather slow, another step out of the combo, zero points

A bit mechanical in terms of presentation for Okazaki

Hayato Okazaki
Sing, Sing, Sing

3A fall out
3F really twisted upper body going up
3Lz stepout

14 years old, I would think the youngest one here?

An axel step out, a flip bit short of rotation, spins rather slow, another step out of the combo, zero points
Because they didn't put +COMBO on the Lutz. They will, and he will at least get some minimal points back.

Youngest skater (14) for the men's competition, Hayato Okazaki.

Commentator Mura competed in the same rink in 2005, when he was 14. He said that he was very nervous at that time.

3rd group Warm Up

Kojima and Morimoto compete in JNats for the first time.

Taiga Nishino has 2 kinds of quads and is viewed as a rising star.

Beautiful camel spin, nice flexibility. Has a good sense of musicality and flow, transitions into the 3 flip. I love this music so he has all my points have to say. Good job for Kataise

Kojima
Good speed, spins a bit off-center. He almost ran out of speed after landing his jumps; his presentation was somewhat weak overall. It's clear it's his debut and he's still a junior overall

Morimoto
Not this song please, opens with a simple 2axel, lots of armography well I think he has to justify the shirt 'In this shirt' theme. Jumps were ok but but by today's standards just simple.

Kojima in K&C
"I have always watched this competition on TV, and this time, I'm on this side (smiling)." 😂
