2025 Cranberry Cup International (August 7-10, 2025), Norwood, MA, USA

4T with an obvious stepout into a 3F? Idk, Tomoki.

Still slow. Jumps still get no distance. And almost 2 minutes in, I feel like it's just been back and forth down the ice to get all the jumps done.

Oh Tomoki, you never cease to break my heart. So much unrealized potential with those wild jump landings and unrealized levels on your spins. Sigh.

Hiwatashi

4t steps out then 3f--if that was an Euler attempt, I couldn't tell until the 3rd viewing, 4t another messy landing, 3a that looked like it dropped from the sky, 3s, 3a-2a. One of his better jumping days in that he landed them, but many of the landings look like a struggle--lots for the judges to review, expressing the steps, needs more expression earlier in the program, fantastic split leap per usual

So is someone going to do a "Creep"/Rach Concerto 2 mash-up? That's the only thing this comp is lacking.
Well, there is the option of a Sinnerman/Rach Concerto 2 mash-up that we haven't yet heard from this group...

I really hated the construction of the program. It went nowhere and the jumps were stacked. Spins are always meh. Give it PCS in the 6's.

All the comments while he was still skating suggest that you're not alone.
Seriously, I'm trying to wait to go to the bathroom until the end of this group but I really feel that I could have made Tomoki a bathroom break.

Am I the only one underwhelmed by Tomoki despite that being a pretty decent skate for him?
I don't think he's a natural artist, which hampers the overall impression even when it wasn't terrible (though there were a lot of messy jump landings today).

this is a big problem with him. His landings are messy and he doesn't even get his levels in a lot of other stuff. Idk what to do with him anymore.

I'm guessing this is his last season. He's in his mid-late 20's now. I can't see him continuing on, but who knows???

Since Gorodnitsky gives me Stojko vibes more often than not, he'd probably be better off with this music than Liam.

And I've probably said it 20 times in the last few years, but Keegan Murphy skaters just don't have any kind of identity at all.
