Kirk Haugeto was a no-show, but he was at the venue later in the day. He still has a supporter (brace?) on his arm.

I wondered about his cast. I assume it will have to come off to compete, otherwise it's an extendable and retractable mass that would aid in spins. Not that I think anyone would wear one for any kind of unfair advantage considering how much more difficult it surely makes every other aspect of skating a routine -- I'm just trying to think like an international judging body that has to apply the rules as written regardless of how bad Kirk ate it in that scooter accident (poor kid).

And there's sound (at least in Canada) 😸

Sophie Joline landed her 3a+2t combo! Clean program for her and this is going to score very well.

Hmmmm... 62.21 - wonder what the tech panel did with her jumps.

Iyla Wilson AUS - withdrawn; next up is Camila Volkova with her too busy light green dress that I remember from NextGen, lol.

Yonemuri getting massive height on her jumps which is very nice

Kim had nice spins, and I thought her dress was beautiful for the program. Hopefully she'll gain speed and better height on her jumps as she grows.

Woodley

Big 3z-2t (probably too much height on first jump to get a triple off the second), fall on solo 3r, needs to put more feeling into the choreo, the moves are there, just needs more interpretation

Megan has big jumps, but doesn't control them well. And I'm not sure who suggested that she skate to Carmen - she's not giving it much at all.
