Kirk Haugeto was a no-show, but he was at the venue later in the day. He still has a supporter (brace?) on his arm.

I wondered about his cast. I assume it will have to come off to compete, otherwise it's an extendable and retractable mass that would aid in spins. Not that I think anyone would wear one for any kind of unfair advantage considering how much more difficult it surely makes every other aspect of skating a routine -- I'm just trying to think like an international judging body that has to apply the rules as written regardless of how bad Kirk ate it in that scooter accident (poor kid).

Agreed her presentation looks better and more use of edges. Wonderful that she's keeping her ambitious 3a-3t. Her solo 3r was small and rotated into the ice, which might have dropped the TES score.
