  • Preference for assignments will be given to skaters/teams who have been assigned to an ISU Grand Prix event for the 2025-26 season.
  • Skaters/teams will be considered for assignments if they have consistently attained the following minimum target scores:
  • Internationally in the 2024-25 season
  • Domestically in the 2024-25 or 2025-26 seasons

International Benchmark204155152154
Domestic Benchmark219166163165

So, right off the bat, the following skaters will be eligible for Challenger assignments due to their GP assignments:

Men - Roman Sadovsky, Aleksa Rakic, Stephen Gogolev
Women - Madeline Schizas, Sara Maude Dupuis, Katherine Medland Spence
Pairs - Stellato-Dudek/Deschamps, Pereira/Michaud, Laurin/Ethier, Bombardier/Mimar
Dance - Gilles/Poirier, Lajoie/Lagha, Fabbri/Ayer, Lauriault/Le Gac

Additionally, looking over the ISU SB lists -
Men - Wesley Chiu & Matthew Newnham both have SBs that are just a smidge above the Int'l benchmark (206.94 & 205.34 respectively), but I think they'll each get at least 1 Challenger.
Women - Uliana Shiryaeva (178.83), Fee Ann Landry (169.03) and Kaiya Ruiter (165.75) should easily earn at least 1 Challenger assignment each.
Pairs - Desrochers/Thrasher (159.29 JGP) & Ariano Kent/Laliberte Laurent (155.02 JWC) would be in line for a Challenger if they want to earn the Sr CTES mins.
Dance - Hensen/Lickers (165.40) & Gauthier/Thieren (160.75 - JGP) will certainly get at least 1 Challenger. Nguyen/Giang (150.97 JGP) need to bump that score up by quite a bit either domestically or at LPIDI if they want to be assigned to a Challenger.
