I gotta say I'm very intrigued to see how Wang/Zhu perform. Many folks over at Golden Skate have them in their top five and some even predict they'll medal. The pair did have some solid elements last season. Could it all come together this weekend?

No. They've been dealing with injury and this is their first competition of the season. Their PB is 139.54 at last season's 4CCs.

For comparison, Les Kovs, who have also been dealing with some injuries this summer/fall, still managed 157+ at GPdF. McBPark, PerMich & ChtWoz have all scored 168+ at their first GPs.

The only team they MIGHT beat would be GamKor, who beat them by just 3 points at 4CCs last season; however GamKor are in a better training environment now and scored at 157+ PB at John Nicks a couple months ago. If WangZhu were healthy, maybe they'd be competitive with GamKor, but I'm doubtful.

I heard that Pável was recovering from something (shoulder?) but do you know if both of them have had injury? Camille has also had problems with elements this season but maybe it’s the overall lack of training time.
