I know? Weird I don’t quite understand. That was so odd! Her score didn't seem to reflect a missed section?

Yeah I agree, I just hope she can at some stage in the season put her two triple lutzes in like she does in practice. She has the rest but like many of the juniors a work in progress. This program will be a lovely vehicle for Abbie with some more miles on it. Unfortunately, a number of the jumps will likely be called underrotated.![]()
Yea she deserves to have one as she is displaying more consistency than any of the other juniors so far this season. Shame she will be too young for consideration for the YOG.Skate Canada is really missing the boat if they don't assign Lulu Lin to a JGP.
I thought it was just the boot too but she seemed to be in discomfort at the endOh crap, looks like she may have hurt herself. But she's picking back up and going on. ETA: No, it was some sort of a boot or lace issue.
They "waved off" first aid/medical who came through the stands. Now someone is looking at her ankle while they await the scores, I think.I thought it was just the boot too but she seemed to be in discomfort at the end![]()
She just missed the short program minimum at Cranberry (she got 23.34 and it's 25 points). She got it in the free skate there though.Oh what a lovely skate for Katherine Karon, she also has her minimums for 4CC I believe? Such a pleasant skater to watch
ETA. I think a few of her jumps were under rotated .. shame

I tried as well with the same result. The FS results for the Sr Women in Kitchener - no video links came up, even with the "hide" trick.
It was beautiful I think my favourite dress of the competition. A lovely skater I wasn’t familiar with.Miriam's dress is striking! You don't see green on the ice very often.
Her coaches seemed to expect her to have an extra 30 seconds of music and they were telling her to make sure to stay still and just hold her ending position for the extra time. Not clear if the wrong cut of music was handed in or something along those lines, but it wasn't a case of the skater messing up and forgetting a section. That was so odd! Her score didn't seem to reflect a missed section?
Re: Kemp/Elizarov - injury seems to be the likely answer since they're now out of JGP Istanbul. Not overly impressed with that skate. Nice to see the 3twist back and a level 3 on the death spiral, but just a throw 2loop again and errors on the lift and sbs 2axels. They look quite undertrained, which is odd given that they're now full-time with a trained pairs coach. I know it sounds odd, but hopefully the issues are injury related and not some weird regression.
Gover was so graceful, clean and smooth I did not look at Wilson French much but did see some sloppiness and indifferent skating. Have they not been skating long together?Yipe, Gover/Wilson French into 3rd with 45.92. I'm starting to wonder how long this partnership can hold on. There's such a glaring difference in their skill levels, unfortunately. ETA: They're even behind Tibau/Dawson now.
