Of course, I'm interested in this season's yet unseen seniors (especially Lopareva/Brissaud)

But my main interests are in junior and how Stefania Gladki will fare and ... gasp ... the ice dance competition for which I'm most excited :dog: (but don't want a repetition of the side effect which followed 2009 :wuzrobbed )

No Francois Pitot? Oh, he’s doing back-to-back JGPs in Gdansk.
Bonne chance pour la prochaine compétition! 👍

Watching the senior pairs... I realize Bouvart is new to pairs skating, but boy his feet and balance is SKARY in those lifts.

Well, having seen both Keriven/Bouvart and Faula/Belle now, I'm seriously underwhelmed. Neither team has any business getting the 3rd host spot at GPdF. Faula/Belle had a failed lift, a single throw, and while he looked better on the other two lifts than Bouvart, they are not ready for the GP. I hope the FFSG rethinks the Faula/Belle assignment and pulls it in favor of some other team from another country.

Haven't seen the women yet either, but I'd say that Meite isn't ready for the GP either based on Nepela and this week's scores, and the FFSG should probably pull that assignment too.

Cool to see an FSUer as a judge here 😉

Checked on Kevin before he was taken to Grenoble for X-rays and/or MRI and he apparently has a sprain ankle. It looks like he has a gigantic egg just above his malleolus. On his landing foot of course. He told me he didn't think it was an end of season injury. Silvia was less affirmative and the doc didn't really know. Fingers crossed...

Massot is building his pair school and it’s going to take time but he’s teaching them the right fundamentals. Bouvart needs a lot of off ice strength training and learn not to swear in the kiss and cry. 😜

Piegad/Strekalyn landed their throws today. There is a lot of work to do on the twist and getting her consistent on triples in a LP.

I think that Oxana and Flavien will soon take over once they up the jump content. Massot has done miracle work with them and it’s just the beginning.

Ooooo - I hope there's a video snippet since I didn't realize he was swearing in the KnC - he was quite animated, I could see, lol.

I agree about Vouillamoz/Giniaux - compared to where they were at Jr Worlds last year, they've improved by leaps and bounds. They have a lot of potential.

Lorine has been so very consistent this fall.
Perhaps a spoiler to a bronze medal at the Europeans (if she is not too young to participate). I like her original style

She is old enough. She needs the TES mins, so hopefully she'll be sent to a senior B to get them this fall.
