Wondering if some of these skaters, like the Mexican and Israeli and Turkish skaters, might end up staying in this part of Europe to train before Worlds? I don't know how practical that is, especially under the current situation, but it might make more sense than flying back and forth?

In theory the Israelis might go "home" to get vaccinated. But there could be quarantine requirements then.

I’m a bit surprised to see Kolyada here. He hasn’t lacked for competition experience so far this season.

Maybe he just likes competing? T/M want to get in front of an international panel so the same motives might apply for him. Although did he do that one competition in Belarus?

Pulled muscle. Not major injury but painful and incapacitating. He was already injured at Nationals.

+ now you need to present a negative PCR test to get back to France. Meaning you have to find where to get it on time and to pay for it. It can be complicated and expensive as it's not covered by French social security. Lots of people are worried to be stuck abroad.

Well it is 5 euros per day or 15 for the entire competition, don't know if the stream will be available on demand but I will send them an email to know about this.

I've been in touch with the organizing comitee via e-mail and they told me that the streaming will be available to catch On-Demand in case you miss it live. The videos will be available to catch up until March 1 (competition ends a day before)
