Danielian's 3A was gorgeous. What did he do on the spin to not get + GOE. I looked away for a minute as someone came in my office door.
Buianova looks happy. Her NonKovtun look. And since she's here with Arthur, clearly she's not with Max. What a hard choice for her to make. Not.

Danny_Salmon's spot is secure for a while, but if Gorodnitsky ever gets everything together it may not be. Bychenko isn't going to skate forever and keep those 2 spots.

This has been a very well-skater event so far. I am a little surprised that Gumennik’s marks were so high though. I thought he was very slow and comes across better on TV. I was wondering if the axel was under rotatated too (but forgot to check on replay so I guess I’ll accept the panel’s call as clean for now).
I don’t think Phan’s program is a good vehicle for him, but I thought he clearly had the best basic skating of anyone so far and it’s crazy that he and Gumennik have the same skating skills marks. It’s a shame about the mistake on the axel, although it’s still probably one of his best SPs this year.

Hiwatashi is really making a case for himself to be competitive in US seniors next season. I get why the USFS sent him here to get JGP spots, but, I'm not sure he shouldn't have gone to Japan instead.

I hate when Pulkinen skates a clean SP because you know he's going to freak out and bomb the free. He does this just to feck with our heads, but the boy skates like a dream when he wants to.
