2019 Bavarian Open, Feb. 5-10, Oberstdorf, Germany

Bidar looks better than ever
I like this team a lot.
He went down on the 3s, throw was 2footed; might get close in getting the minimums I fear.

But; he was really into it, great speed, great program for them.
You could tell she seems a bit insecure, but for the first outing, this was really solid.

Welcome back!
Finally.

Hmmmm....I'm not sure all that "wanting to expand his horizons' was worth splitting with Anna. It will be very interesting to see how she does next season with her new partner.

But, I agree that he does look good.

Hope NBC doesn't block the video since they think they own everything (like videos of canadian nationals)
Thanks Braulio! :respec:

OMG that was not half bad (apart from the twist)! Really great speed and energy, nice sbs 3s and 3s throw + good sbs spins! I consider this a success! I thought the score was quite stingy. I guess levels were really low for the terrible twist + lift.

Yuna Shiraiwa

Easily winning Group2, easily getting the minimums, junior worlds next! :respec:

That would be some nice and surprising story if she could enter the RUS phalanx and medal at her third appearance there, after coming in 4th and 5th the last times.

That would require one of the Russians to meltdown, and possibly a Korean as well. Her main task at jr worlds is to keep JGP spots for Japan, a medal would be surprising icing on the cake.

I would say that Shiraiwa's task at Junior Worlds is to keep her World Standing high enough to get her onto the GP again next season. She's #23 right now. Points from JW could keep her top 24.

Thanks for videos @Braulio :respec:

Good to see Bidar again. But can't say I don't miss Anna...

Hocke is way to good for this crap. Blommart better step up his game, and not just in the tech department! I'd much rather have her over emoting, than no emoting. She's a star.
