Samoilov actually has nice basics, but he's so focused on the jumps they don't really stand out in the way they should.

Samoilov has the components to be incredible, big jumps and smooth skating skills, but it never comes together in competition for him.

I really like Adam but two falls, a double and five jumps reviewed plus a really junior program that goes nowhere. Looks like spins reviewed too. This should go last in the free .

Hopefully this is a learning experience and he comes back stronger in four years.

That performance was a struggle for Adam. The flaws in his skating, and lack of finish in the performance were more appreciable in a program with so many technical mistakes.

I wish we had the sqiggle map. No way could he be as slow as he looked. I thought that sit spin position was going to come to a complete stop.

I was thinking the same thing. Should be making a list of skaters who we'd pay to see in a show.

I think Hagara's opportunity to improve is swiftly closing. I really have enjoyed him in previous seasons, but this year he's fallen back both technically and with less interesting programs. Sigh.

Every time I see this program from Hagara, I'm just flummoxed as to how they could choose to skate to music from any 007 movie and come up with such a flat music edit and program that in no way, shape or form gives any of the suave charisma & style usually associated with James Bond. It's bizarre.
