Her salchow looked short to me, and the throw was problematic a million miles away.

Great lift and choreography but don’t think it deserves to beat P&M or S&H. Especially if the sal was q or <

That was a little rough in places with the fall, and the issues on the spins, and the steps. It will be interesting to see whether this goes ahead of the Chinese.

They really could have stood to be cleaner on the elements other than the throw. If they had, they might be going into first.

Moments where that was lovely, but like P/M, lots of mess too.

I think they should behind the Canadians today though. We’ll see.

we see the height and length of the throws. do you as well? The lowest so far was 80cm - here the throw was only 20cm in height. no wonder she cannot land it.

I think the Sal was tight for her, the program is choreographed so well and it's all a bit formulaic for their programs now but I still enjoy them a lot. Such strong composition, the lift always finds a way to be a major highlight.

KamO's spins are also messy & out of unison. Meh. Pretty typical performance from them. TES says they'll be behind PerMich and could wind up behind SuiHan, which would be wrong.

Ahead of Sui and Han is helpful for the US, but skating well enough to be ahead of PerMich would have been better.

Is sooo disconcerting listening to skating terms in spanish, triple loop lanzado sounds weird and espiral de la muerte sounds so dramatic

USA definitely got a gift here with KamO coming in no worse than 5th in the SP. Now to see what how the last 3 teams sort it out.

I miss A. Knierim. But really, that throw fall in the team event has been predictable for years.

Kam & O'Shea did their job in the SP, placing to expectation, even if the team above them right now is CAN instead of CHN.

Torgy is probably a bit tired since he just finished practice - saw him during the ice resurfacing when we had the Ilia-cam from the training rink.
