2026 US Nationals Pairs FS "Ghosted (by my triples)"

I mean, O'Shea and Nagy as of right now have a good shot of going to the Olys. Maybe Liu is a good luck charm. If Bedard suddenly switches to Flores, we'll know. I wonder where she'd be if she'd stuck it out with Xie Zhong.
No way will Bedard give Flores a go as a partner - he's on the smaller side like Wang.

Hey it works for Sui and Han.
Ehhhhhh... I'm not sure there's a tactful way to say this without someone coming at me for body-shaming or something, but Bedard struggled with lifts & throws when he and Martins were teamed up &, if memory serves, she was around the same size as Olivia Flores, while Chelsea is noticeably thinner than either.

It just occurred to me that Chelsea Liu has skated with 3 of the other men in this event. Mitrofanov, O'Shea, Nagy.

That’s what I was saying in the practice thread on the first day I was saying USFSA done them dirty because every single man on that group 1 ice just about was her previous partner, all they were missing was Brian Johnson.

Wait... Whut? Governor Abbott of Texas has weighed in on Efimova's citizenship question according to Ben?!

The stupid tiles confused me and I was on the Pairs/Women waiting for it to start, when I realized pairs must have started. (Woke up a hour earlier than planned, it’s a cold 3:00 AM here.)

Saw McPark, other than athleticism I don’t see much wonderful there.

I think pneumonia is the line NBC has decided to push. I'm not really sure why--this team is at best in line for first alternate for 4CC. They can just say "battling illness" cause now Ben is saying it. I feel like they've instructed the commenters to say this. Although, to be fair, students say this too when they're very sick and don't know why, even if they test negative. I just read pneumonia now as "worse than a cold but not the flu". I've gone to the doctor and been given a note for work that said "pneumonia-like symptoms" so I'm going to assume Chelsea and I obviously go to the same doctor. Cause, logic.
First thing that crossed my mind was pulmonary hypertension - doesn't she skate in high altitude?

But I would assume they did pulmonary function studies. Plus internet doctoring is extremely dangerous
