Competition Streaming

Heads up for those with YouTubeTV if you want to record the TV broadcasts - the Free Dance/Men's FS was not getting picked up automatically by my "record anything with skating" command. Also not getting picked up was the Sunday gala which is titled "Making the Team."

FYI, my DVR guide is showing a broadcast of the RD on Thursday from 6 to 8 pm ET on USA. So not exactly live but close.

I'm also seeing a broadcast of "figure skating" on Sat from 6 to 8 pm ET on USA that is described as "figure skating events around the world" that I assume is a recap of Nats events but who knows.

YT start times are notoriously sketchy & flip around. Happened all the time with the ISU streams. I'm sure it will start on time.

I think this volleyball match is finishing up on USA Network. The match looked pretty good! I’m wondering if this is a new league.

I think the skating coverage should be starting soon.

The Women's SP is scheduled to start at 7:27pm local time, so 5 minutes from now. USA apparently decided to keep that coverage on and not show any of the Pairs SPs (we may get 1 or 2 in the ice resurfacing), but I expect the coverage to start as soon as USA is back from the commercial break they just went to.

ETA - and USA is live with Terry giving us the intro!

Edited to add: Actually it's probably the Japanese broadcast pirated by a Chinese recaster.
