Anyone watching? My Terps won today! Always good to get through Round 1.

My bracket is busted even though I picked Creighton, Arkansas, Colorado State, Baylor, and Drake. I did not pick McNeese, and I did pick Yale, VCU, Vandy. Let’s go Akron!

I'm told by my know it all sports friend, my Creighton Blue Jays will lose tomorrow. Which I mean is likely but... And the fan throwing the full bottle of water on the floor because they were losing

My UNO Mavericks lost to St John's. A 16 seed has very little chance to win against a number 1 seed. I was really proud of them, the first time in the March Madness Tourney. The announcers were impressed that fans would do a 22 hour bus trip to see the game - it was that important to the University.

I was disgusted by Duke's trompling of its opponent. You don't need to keep your starters in when you are winning (93-49). Help the loser retain some pride

My Jayhawks already lost. This is the first time in seventeen years that they lost in round one instead of moving on. So am I bothered? Not at all---I know we are spoiled fans. I started watching them mid-80's and I think they missed the tourney in 1989 but have attended all of the others. Today the longtime Voice of the Jayhawks died---Bob Davis. He made listening on the radio exciting if you weren't able to watch the game. Many roadtrips with Bob....RIP.

Yeah, I was really sad for them. My great nephew wants to play at KU when he graduates. That says a lot given his grandpa's and dad's Alma Maters are Creighton and Iowa. He has gone to KU's summer basketball camp. He idolizes Bill Self

Duke's trompling on it's opportents is beyond disgusting. I don't understand keeping starters in when you are ahead by 40+ points or 26+ points.

Poor sportsmanship trying to run up the score. Is it meant to get records, embarrass another school, or to be a bully?

I've been watching. As a Michigander, I'm loving that both the Spartans and Wolverines are still in it. If they both win again, they would play each other in the Elite 8. Would love to see Coach Izzo make a run (in his waning years?) but the Wolverines are cocky and fun to watch when they aren't turning the ball over.

Drink every time you hear an NCAA tournament announcer say that the SEC was the deepest conference in the history of the sport this year

Wow: All of the schools this year are from the power conferences in the Sweet Sixteen. And I get it: The transfer portal and NIL cash are strong aphrodisiacs. Certainly my Jayhawks benefit from it from year to year. But what about the smaller schools? There are no Cinderella's this year in the Sweet Sixteen. That is ok this year. I'm not sure I'd want to see this every year. But my friends who are avid Wichita State fans tell me the portal and big money are killing them. I'm not sure if there is an answer.

All #1s in the Final Four. Lowest seed was #3 in the Elite 8. Not a Cinderella year.

Derik Queen signed a NIL deal with Dairy Queen - perfect! But I have little hope of keeping him since Coach Willard is going to Villanova.
