Scheduled to last 5 hours 45 minutes, finishing at 4:55 PM.Could someone who is good with the timing of such things, tell me how long the men’s short program will last in its entirety?
Thanks, I will miss half of it then. Booooo!Scheduled to last 5 hours 45 minutes, finishing at 4:55 PM.
If your daughter has a smart tv (able to stream from the internet) you should be able to watch the ISU through Youtube. You don't need a subscription to do that. https://www.youtube.com/@SkatingISU/streamsI will be in the US staying at my daughters. I am not sure if they have Peacock as I know they don't watch much tv. I probably won't be able to get the ISU channel or CBC and I really don't want NBC. Is that likely all I can get?
Not in the US - it will be geoblocked without a VPN.If your daughter has a smart tv (able to stream from the internet) you should be able to watch the ISU through Youtube. You don't need a subscription to do that. https://www.youtube.com/@SkatingISU/streams

So no Chris Howarth Bingo??For those wondering, Mark Hanretty will be in Montreal to do the ISU YouTube stream commentary - he's leaving the UK tomorrow (according to his post on X today)
Nope, lol. It was jolly fun but I'll gladly take Mark Hanretty commentary over Chris Howarth bingo at any ISU event. So no Chris Howarth Bingo??
Quoting myself here to add changesBroadcast (cable)TV (and just to make things confusing this coverage that is made for cable TV and will have CBC's own commentators, Kurt, Megan, etc. will also be available on Gem). All times Pacific.
Thursday 12.30am-2.30am
Friday 5-7pm
Saturday noon-2pm
Saturday 11pm-1am
I'm quite confident the entire competition will also be streamed live on Gem with the ISU feed. Their streaming schedule indicates this (even if it's a bit loosey-goosey atm).
They probably will - CBC often uses that time slot for sports - either a version of something already broadcast earlier in the day, or an event that they couldn't fit into their schedule earlier in the day.@Alilou If they're genuinely planning to air something at 12:30 am, we may also have to choose between watching and sleeping
Still a slight chance the block is a mistake and will be removed at some point. IIRC at least a couple of times in the past this has happened, once not until the second or third event. It seems the ISU feed will be blocked in Canada so we watch it with a VPN or on Gem or CBC player.

Thank you for compiling those! I was going to copy and paste the radio canada links for myself and post them all here but now I don't have to. Honestly this is the best bet for Canadians, especially if you can't watch it live. They let you rewind the stream a bit (about 30 minutes I think) and it's the same link to watch the replay. I don't know why CBC doesn't do this. I mean the last two Olympic games the live links for all the events were the same as the replay so it made it very easy to watch anything you wanted when you wanted to watch it. Anyway enough about that.At any rate, here are the Canadian links I've located so far at cbc sporrs, gem, and radio Canada.
CBC.ca/player lets you rewindThis happened last year but I don't think it will happen again as the event is hosted in Canada, but we'll see.

The replays yes but I have never been able to rewind a live broadcast on the CBC stream.CBC.ca/player lets you rewind
The earlier start time is the world feed (full event) to distinguish it from the later one, which is NBC's live primetime broadcast. When I checked Peacock today, only the Men's Free had a World Feed in addition to the regular one. Anyone else find this?
But I only have one feed showing up for each segment, except for the mens free. The earlier start time is the world feed (full event) to distinguish it from the later one, which is NBC's live primetime broadcast.
I believe that's because only the Men's Free will have any live broadcast on the main NBC network. Anything else broadcast live is on cable USA channelBut I only have one feed showing up for each segment, except for the mens free.
Ah, got it.The 7 other Peacock tiles are the world feed. Mark Hanretty -- and I've heard Tonia Kwiatkowski (last heard on IceNetwork's 2018 U.S. Nationals coverage) -- will be on the world feed/ISU livestream.
Well and Thank YOU for posting the radio-canada link to the Pair's Short program in the TV Alerts thread, because that's what I used to help me find the list of all the other links today.Thank you for compiling those! I was going to copy and paste the radio canada links for myself and post them all here but now I don't have to.
