a/p's carmina burana and their flamenco OD were the only ones I could really remember and cherish from the early 2000s

Ice Dance in the early 2000's

it was interesting to see delobel-schoenfelder's great gig in the sky competing against the version from a very young and upcoming v/m. the tail end of generation 6.0 competing against the primary generation of the CoP era skaters. of course, this was 2009, i'm aware of that. just mentioning the...

watched some of v/m's RTR performances on youtube and I have to say I cried during Fix You. I rarely cry during figureskating shows. the only other time I did was during gordeeva's tribute to her late husband in the 90s.

missed your point? you clearly stated "compulsories and ODs". that's why i bolded that part of your reply. here again: "since T&S were so good with different styles in compulsories and ODs right from the beginning." NOT ONCE did you mention their FDs so there! people will always point out "oh...

wow, v/m were only versatile in the SD? they're the only team in the last 2 quads that have attempted a wide variety of musical styles and themes in their FREE DANCE and excelled in them BOTH technically and artistically

the furthest i can imagine them expand is by doing psychedelic rock like v/m's pink floyd. i'd wager a bet they won't do anything else than ethereal lyrical. good if they can really expand further, but i won't be surprised if they don't/can't

Tessa Virtue & Scott Moir #48: Long Time Running

a lot of p/c fans think that what they do is the modern take on ice dancing when what they're doing is really watering down of a lot of technical difficulties that marina's former teams used to crank out--one-foot skating, closed holds, difficult transitions and lifts. v/m excels in melding...
