Anyone wanna try to make some predictions for the qualifier next week after looking at the scores from Lombardia, besides R/A and H/C?😅 Very underwhelming scores for I/S and P/T. Along with Y/M recent low scores, it’s looking better for V/K (unless they were crazy overscored) and perhaps the Swedes🤔
Does anybody know why Nina WD after the SP at Robin Cousins cup? She had a pretty rough SP. I hope it’s not injury related. I see she is listed for Nepala in a few weeks. Hopefully that is a good sign.
Does Britain have special requirements for Olympic tickets or is the mins good enough?
Oh that is weird. I saw the post and didn`t even think about it. I just checked and Skatesweden even made a article about this on Skatesweden.se. It also mention Reitan/Majorov and Taljegard going and even Andreas having secured a spot for the men in Boston. There is no single word about them...
I didn`t expect it to be so many that actually liked there program here. LOL
All though it`s obvious that are both very technical skilled skaters, they are not well connected and the program is kinda meh IMO.
The score is crazy, but not unexpected. Unfortunately their reputation is going to...
Correct. They mostly train there. But they do go back and forth between Sweden and Oberstdorf because they officially live in Sweden because Milla is working on the citizenship. I don`t think any other of the Swedish ID teams trains in Oberstdorf. If you heard Ricky Martin and Romeo and Juliet...
Apparently the Finnish Fed has clarified they wan`t to wait after Yukas language test to see if they can do something. There is no other team to take the spot. Most likely the result will be as anticipated - there are slim chances, but I respect that they won`t give up the spot yet. The 5th team...
With 5 ID spots now, it`s a much better shot, but depending on who Italy sends and the shape of the Georgian team. Will V/K recent scores hold? Will Y/M score better then Skate Ontario etc.? Everybody will need to delivers and mistakes will be costly
News is out that that Yuka will not get citizenship in time, and that Finlands second spot will not be used and becomes available for another country (source from Anything GOEs).
So 5 ID spots are now up to grabs in Beijing
From all the teams on the bubble, IMO S/F is the one that is most likely to not qualify a spot in Beijing. As Karen-W points out, they keep dropping or stagnate. Even at Euros they fell behind a fresh team like the Swedes that doesn`t have the reputation yet. R/M going into their 3rd season...
