I also enjoyed the series and watched it all on Sunday.
I think even from a non skating fan the series was exciting and perfect edited with all building towards GP and all the drama in between. I even thought at times that the material is too good, that you almost wonder if they did it purpose...
Please tell me those screens? with all the striped colours aren´t supposed to be like this? :X3: It´s giving me a migrane and I assume it must be 10x worse for the audience and skaters..
Wooops of course - I know they are with Hurtado I assumed she was at IAM... Well then they might not help them, unless Hurtado has some influence (my impression is she might have a little at times, I mean after all V/K made the podium at Skate to Milano)
Judging how W/L were scored at 4CC, along with GP - I don´t think they will make it if the other skates clean and there isn´t some really weird scoring going on. I say this without knowing how the panel look. If it comes down to level, they better not. Didn´t they get a lv. 1 on the pattern step...
Seems like Seniuks passport situation might resolve in last minute. On Wednesday the cabinet voted 16-9 that the prime minister would be handed over the authorities temporary to sign those documents that are needed, as there still is no interior minister. After he has signed, the passport will...
So if Swiss Olympic Comittee doesn´t give Kaiser the spot, the next in line would only have a working day (the 23rd) to figure out if their Olympic Committee will send them since the deadline is Monday the 26th - I don´t know if this is normal or not, but i´m wondering if this has happen before...
Anyways - her new passport is probably in the making now, she might need an emergency passport going into Euros next week if she hasn´t got it back before they travel - but normally that shouldn´t be an issue getting an emergency passport when the reason is that a new one is the making.
Edit...
I´m Norwegian, but I have been trying to catch up on as much information as possible about how the process is. Nordic citizens has the shortest outcomes from all applications with average of about 2 months for 75% of the applications according to information on Migrationsverkets site. Which is a...
I´m reading the press release on the Team Sweden Olympic site and they also got the promising athlete exception like Andreas - "Framtidskriteriet" - based on that they are a new ice dance team that they think will develop.
So Nikolaj Majorov I believe is the first skater that has gotten in...
This was such great news on a Friday, this really made my day
I´m so happy the waiting time is over for them and they also got the news and confirmation before Euros next week so they don´t need the uncertainty and a lot of questions about citizenship there.
I think we might have a overscoring winner of Nationals, if we particular look into the gap between last international scores and this. Over a 30 points gap, wow. Not to mention the international scores was from events in China so it wasn´t really particular underscored either.... :slinkaway
That was not on by bingo card, I thought every of the women had their citizenship sorted out. I´m also questioning if OC of Israel will send Gervits with her results.
European Championship 2028 in Sweden will be great :respec:
Any chance Nordic countries could co-host Worlds 2028 together for the 4 disciplines?
Speed skating in Hamar, synchro in Helsinki, and figure skating in Malmö? They all have experience with hosting the different discipline recently...
Regarding the citizenship issue, Milla and Nikolaj has spoken today with media about the citizenship situation. Here is a link to paper: Expressen.
So the facts from the article: Migrationsverket in Sweden received her application only 12 days ago, the 1th of December. Milla couldn´t apply...
