I totally agree with the C/B statement. Something about him just doesn't connect with me or the audience I feel. Apparently it connects with the judges though. Also agree that G/P knocked it out of the park. I think these programs could land them closer to (if not on) the podium at worlds.
Exactly! People always say they find themselves watching him instead of her, but I couldn't disagree more. I have always watched her during their performances because she captures the feeling and fluidity of their dances so well.
To tie that back to Aljona and Bruno, I find myself going back...
I couldn't agree with you more. His SBS jumps seems to be top quality and really consistent based on the few televised competitions they've been in.
Couldn't have said it better myself. She definitely wouldn't put that much trust in someone if she didn't believe he had the skills. I really...
I'm genuinely impressed with how great of a job Bruno is doing. Based on what I've seen so far, his expressiveness and emotion really comes through when he's skating. And to keep up with such a rock star like Aljona is very impressive!
Any word on what Gilles and Poirier have been up to? I think they're really improving and if they choose good music (really benefited them in the SD at worlds this year; right behind Weaver/Poje) then they could be a force to be reckoned with.
