Not sure the best place to post this, but here's a good podcast with Terry Gannon covering his work on skating plus the Olympics, NBA, and more. Glad to see him getting some more mainstream recoginition...

    2026 U.S. Nationals - St. Louis!

According to this interview, St Louis has already decided to get in the mix for 2030 Nationals. I may be remembering wrong, but I think Boston is interested too. https://www.stlmag.com/podcasts/314-podcast/episode-23/

U.S. Men 2025-26 Discussion - Quad God and the Mere Mortals

That wouldn't surprise me at all - I also think they could have Chock and Bates on there competing against each other, similar to what they did with Meryl & Charlie.

    2026 U.S. Nationals - St. Louis!

That's great! I wish I had taken the fan survey they were promoting, but I never scanned the QR code. I'm hoping they'll send out an email follow-up soon asking for feedback.

    2026 U.S. Nationals - St. Louis!

I attended the sessions on Friday and Saturday and really enjoyed it. Having attended Boston Worlds last year as well, there was some interesting comparisons. I live close enough to St Louis that I could drive in - the arena area was pretty easy to access, and there was plenty of inexpensive...

2025-26 US Pairs Discussion - Milano-Bound By Way of Beijing & St. Louis

Meagan Duhamel was a guest on the Runthrough’s live show yesterday. She said there was a competition to determine the team who went to China and that S/N won by ‘a million points’. That may not be an exact quote, but the sentiment was similar. She also said it was basically a fluke competition...

    Ilia Malinin Fan Thread!

I don't have a subscription to read it, but The Athletic/NY Times released a profile of Ilia today that I've seen mentioned on social media several different times today. Link

    2025-26 U.S. Broadcast Schedule

I thought Spaulding was pretty good at the speed skating trials last week with Joey Cheek (his primary sport for Milano, I'm guessing). Now that I think about it, since Terry is doing the opening ceremony, that overlaps some with the team event. I wouldn't be surprised if we get Spaulding for...

If you check Alysa’s Instagram stories, you’ll see what I assume is a sneak peek of the new Gaga costume.

    2026 U.S. Nationals - St. Louis!

Here’s how NBC has it described in their listings: The U.S. Figure Skating Championships conclude with an exhibition from the top skaters, plus the Olympic team is announced.

    2026 U.S. Nationals - St. Louis!

That’s what I’m thinking - make it look like the announcement without it actually being the announcement. There’s no way the skaters and coaches (much less the officials, USOPC, etc) would be okay with waiting 36+ hours in some cases for the news to go public.
