None of the Canadian men are all that consistent right now and Roman was the best he's been since 2020 so I don't think SC has much to lose if they named him to Worlds but he will have to prove himself at 4CC. He's our best bet to get a spot in Milan but we will see.

Maddie with some late mistakes, but this program is Olympic worthy. More than enough to capture the title again. The women were really high level today, the best women's nationals I've seen in quite some time.

No it shouldn't have. Sara-Maude's jumps were fully rotated and she sold the hell out of that program. Kaiya had several UR's that were not counted. This is exactly the right result.

I don't think Kaiya was too bad, but the judges completely ignored the UR's... 122? Just no.

:wall: she skated so well but Joanne McLeod?! Please someone get her away there ASAP. Ravi Walia or Lee Barkell could do so much more with her. There is so much insane potential with her, it just drives me bananas that she's stuck under McLeod.

Actually as train-wrecky as our men are right now... The top 3 weren't half bad! There's a lot of potential in some of these men, there were of course some disasters here today, but overall, I'm not disappointed in the top 3. They did their job. So glad for Roman to come through with that...

Thank you to @danafan for all the PBP! I was at the touring version of Waitress today and couldn't make it in time, I doubt very much I'll be awake for tomorrow either. I was hoping to make some of challenge but that just didn't happen this week so I appreciate the PBP.

Some iffy moments for Brasseur and Bardei, there's a lot to work on just for gelling and maturity, but if these two can mature and put it together they have all the potential to go far.
