I know this might be a silly question but due to being on holiday I missed the release of tickets for the John Wilson Trophy. I only really want to see the ice dance (either Saturday or Sunday ) but while whole event tickets are still available their are no single day tickets for ice dance days...

I get what you mean but then maybe other athletes realise what’s happening and don’t want to be used for political fodder. Though I hope Moskvina has more of a moral compass she must know anyone associating with Putin has no chance of having a career outside of Russia should the Russian Economy...

Nicky Slater I enjoyed their commentary this week. They had some really good insights and their critiques were fair. I like Mark too, considering Nicky Slater actually competed at world level he has never really offered any insights of what it’s like to compete at that level and consistently...

I totally agree, he consistently says the vilest things. I use to love his skating with Usova but I won’t be able to watch those recordings. Also he is such a hypocrite as when things got rough in Russia he was one of the first skaters out of there and he was happy to live in the West for years.

This is dreadful but finding out that one was Slater sadly doesn’t surprise me. Not only is he a hopeless commentator he is seemingly an awful person.

Who were the commentators?

I have always admired Moskvina, am sadly not surprised at the others as they never really tried to share learning or progress the sport.

I remember that programme and it was really good, there were times with N/K and P/B that Zhulin or someone in his team came up with some great material, know everything seems to be only half done.

This situation hasn’t been easy for any of the skaters, I don’t think it was necessary or helpful to tweet what she did. I understand why people are angry but pointing the finger at them at this stage may (persevered) solidify rather than diminish the position of those who let the support down

I use to love watching him and Maia skate , but they way he speaks of others really diminishes those memories,

I agree, when they got together he was the star of the partnership but she really outshines him now.

I think in16/17 when they did the red costumes for the blues it worked really well. I like the concept of the orange but i think I prefer the jumpsuit to the dress Piper wore
