Not sure, that such a "mash-up" would work, musically, they are worlds appart in style, though both wonderful pieces, though in terms of musical consistency, the Massenet is generally of a higher overal standard I think. Auber has a much earlier setting, although it's not terribly good (never heard it though, just seen the score in a library).
