Yup. Skaters don't even have to go to rarely heard classical pieces that much either. Even a lot of popular classics (aside from Rachmaninoff Piano Concerti recently and the Die Fleidermaus overture which was used a lot for a stretch in skating and ye olden gymnastics compulsory routines)...
Tchaikovsky's Capriccio Italien is woefully underused. My vague recollection is Menzies & Bombardier using it in a long program way back. (I'm old.)
Bruch's Violin Concerto too.
Anyone up on the new musicals that have come up in the past few years? Anything suitable for this year's Rhythm Dance from the newer Pretty Woman, The Prom, Be More Chill, Dear Evan Hansen, Mean Girls, The Band's Visit, Waitress, Anastasia ;) , Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Kinky Boots...
Or the Disney songbook in multiple languages though kudos to them for releasing movies in multiple languages.
Is someone going to do the Finnstep to Hakuna Matata (did the Zulu dubbed version include the songs?), Under the Sea, or Thank You from Moana in Tahitian?

Hello, Dolly
The stage musical or the film has some fantastic songs and instrumentals, e.g. "Dancing" and "Waiters' Gallop"

That said, if popular classics are going to be reused, there's plenty of it besides Carmen, Swan Lake, etc. :D

I was hoping for an edit of Carnaval del Barrio from In the Heights since it would be audience friendly but it wouldn't fit into Foxtrot/March/Polka/Blues/Quickstep rhythms.
Are the rhythms fully set yet? Waltzes aren't too hard to find.
