I watched "Living" last night. Bill Nighy's award nominations are certainly well deserved and Aimee Lou Wood was a great addition as well. I loved the setting of London of days gone by and the story of a man with a terminal diagnosis who breaks out of his shell at the end of his life.
"Patience" has been a wonderful surprise and a good mystery series on PBS. It is set in York and involves a group of detectives and a young woman who is autistic who works in their records department and has a talent for puzzles and pulling details together.
"Murderbot" is a half hour weekly...
Clearly...wanting to kill anyone is off but choosing firefighters? I think about the Sandy Hook shooter wanting to kill those angels. It never makes sense.
What a career he had both in and out of the White House. I don't think I would have ever found Joseph Campbell without him. And he was such a gentleman. RIP
I think it is all about the participants. Every once in awhile I go to the BookTok part of TIkTok and from watching their commentary I wonder if their list would be entirely different. I’m glad the NYT does this though.
I like soothing cooking shows which is why I LOVE The Great British Baking Show. I did find another British show I loved which was Britain's Best Home Cook which was wonderful but only lasted a couple of seasons. Now I've stumbled onto the Dish podcast on Youtube and am enjoying that. I...
