She's said repeatedly that she doesn't care about the scores or medals. She just loves skating, and performing, and sharing her art. From all the interviews I've listened to I don't think she "set out to do" anything but enjoy it all.

Maybe it's just more of what happens in all of ice dance and pairs - the boys are special because there are so few of them.

I loved them too, and it also took me a while to get behind him and Piper, but I did love some of their earlier stuff, before Vincent.

AFAIR Vanessa wanted to move to a different coach, and Paul was adamant that he wanted to stay with Carol and Juris. Same reason Nadiia Bashinska and peter Beaumont broke up :(

Now I'm worried. It would take only one of those many many hand stitched beads to have not been properly knotted off and the bead falling to create disaster. :scream::yikes:
