I think this is what might happen. Scott has already peaced out of the limelight and Tessa wants to continue as an influencer.
My commentary wasn’t about a confusion of identity though. It’s about her obsessive neurosis that she doesn’t seem to be self aware about. I used to think their reality...
Based on the hair story she was like this from even an early age. So skating didn’t make her like this. If anything skating was her avenue to channel her compulsive perfectionism. I can’t pretend to know what’s going on in Tessa’s head but there’s an imbalance somewhere and pretending everything...
Tessa wants to prove to the world that she can make something of herself outside of skating and be the best in that as well. That skating isn’t the be all, end all for her.
Idk maybe I’m being harsh but this is not normal. She’s so worried about how people perceive her, she comes across inauthentic anyway. She’s cultivated this unrealistic persona for herself like I’m not even sure the people closest to her get to see the real Tessa. Except Scott apparently because...
Yes I thought the quote about her “polish” wearing off interesting. I could sense tessa was a perfectionist but this is just something else like damn. She needs professional help IMO. Her obsession with people seeing her as perfect is crazy. She comes across so frivolous. She needs to sound...
I feel like something happened and something is off. Tessa doesn’t come across like she’s ok at all in this article but is trying to act like things are ok.
Did you read what scott said?
https://thewalrus.ca/the-olympics-are-over-but-tessa-virtue-is-just-getting-started/ new article that I find bizzarre. Like tessa comes across weird I don’t know how to say it. It sounds like they’re not gonna be working together for very much longer too. But their tour is coming to the US so...
I think people are conflating feeling sad about a retirement announcement and wishing them back in competition. I don’t want them back lol but still it’s an end of the Virtue/Moir era and that makes me sad.
https://www.instagram.com/p/BuFDjMjjlk9/?utm_source=ig_share_sheet&igshid=m58qtsrkmqa4 happy one year SD anniversary. It’s crazy it doesn’t feel like a year has already passed. I feel the end coming soon, meaning retirement lol.
I don't put stock in what TSL says so as a VM fan I wasn't affected by the review of the tour itself. What is weird is what seems to be Dave's hate for Tessa (who has been getting a lot of hate even from her so called fans and I feel bad for her). Like he really went after her. I don't think...

I didn’t say they were against them and the rules are very vague, but I perceived it that for a skater to be considered on the national team you must compete in the fall. So you can’t skip the GP for instance. Which is reasonable...
They didn’t move the tour to summer they’ve always said it would be in fall 2019. I think it going to be hard to get skaters that are still competing to perform in their tour especially with Skate Canada’s new rules.
It was just TSL doing a review of TTYCT which was very snarky. It didn’t bother me but others might object. And it was twitter VM fans that asked for a review in the first place.
Tessa said she and scott are touring in the spring and summer. I’m hoping they use a different choreographer besides...
