2026 Worlds Womens FS PBP - La Vie En Drone

Speaking of skaters with a warhorse that they need to get out of their system.

Skating to Liebstraum in a mini wedding dress.
Someone please open a good dessert wine to drink with this program!

Skate gods - please give Shin something more fitting next season, both music and costume. This music overwhelms her and she clearly has no relationship to it.
I rolled my eyes a bit when Mark called her incredibly artistic. She has great skating skills and a light/delicate presence on the ice, but she tends to do best in a specific box, and doesn’t really have much relationship to the actual music.

Great skate though! Hoping Korea can get 3 spots for next season.

Ice resurfacing underway. After 2 of 4 groups, the FS results so far:

No slight to him but I think the vampire is what has given Stephen that little boost (along with no more injuries).

But a big difference between the two is Stephen is holding those spins and doing all the other elements to get those L4's and Maddie is always dropping levels on her spins and steps that it is so frustrating.
As Maddie prefers to have an all woman coaching/choreo team, does the V.A.M.P.I.R.E have a female equivalent?🧛‍♀️

I still maintain that Maddie should have changed coaches after Beijing. I still think Ravi Walia would have been great for her.

It'll be interesting to see what Maddie does after this season. IIRC she graduates college this year so will she retire from skating or use next season to really focus and see what she can do without school also involved.
Ravi is so underrated

Regarding the flower crowns - this is from Maddie in her Mixed Zone interview:
"One thing I really, really want to say is that I want to thank the fan who makes the flower crowns. We all enjoy them so much. I wanted to tell her that I keep all of them and I really appreciate them.”

She puts so much into them, they always match the skaters costumes perfectly.

GEM is still up and running. Going to be cramp-inducing keeping my fingers crossed for the duration of the event though.

Her hair in her face is effective for the program.

I am figuring out why Sofia's deep wedgie doesn't bother me while LFB's does -- it's the skirt. LFB's costume does not have a skirt.

Why does no one use hairspray anymore? It’s so distracting seeing the little hair flappies

Sofia’s 2A is next best to Kaori’s.

Not a lutz day and the +REP will hurt, but she got the two difficult combos off.

Throwing away points on spins.

Won’t come close to Shin and probably won’t beat Schizas
Schizas is currently 4th in the FS - behind Shin, Karhunen & Zhang.

Scores already up on ISU wedgie - Samo's 2nd behind Shin in the FS and 2nd overall by 6+ points to Karhunen with Schizas nearly 10 points behind Samo overall.
