If this does not belong here, I apologize..I just checked opera browser..where I watch all skating events to avoid the babbling..and it says that I am not connected to the internet..cannot get on YT or any other site. (vpn) TIA

YouTube seems to be cracking down on VPNs. I tested out Nord VPN before I left for Italy and it wouldn't let me watch the ISU channel. But it did work with Peacock outside the U.S. and that's what I bought it for.

If you have Peacock, the world feed is sometimes commentary-free.

So I will actually be in Europe. Anyone know where I watch this in France? Not sure how much I will be able to watch between work and sightseeing but.. :)

use a free 30 day vpn and choose your country as Canada you can watch on demand on cbc gem or YouTube. I did the same in Milan during the Olympics.

These times for Peacock do no match what Peacock is showing on its website. The times on the website are earlier for the SP/RDs

Womens SP is showing at 6:00 am and not 6:30 am. Pairs SP is showing 1:15 pm, not 1:45. Mens SP is showing 5:45 am (ET) not 6:30. Rhythm Dance is 6:00 am not 6:30.

That's a lot of groups to miss.

Peacock's times almost NEVER show up correctly and yet the feeds usually start on time whenever the event really starts.

That hasn't been my experience. The Peacock start times match the start times of individual skaters according to @maureenfarone. So I am going with them.
 
Just a "heads up" for those in Canada - the links for the live streams are currently not showing up on the ISU YouTube channel without using a VPN. There are, however, links for everything on CBC GEM.

You can also watch on radio canada (with French commentary). You have to be registered/logged in to watch but the advantage is the live link will work for the replay (unlike CBC where you have to wait for it to be uploaded which is hit and miss).

Go figure..my VPN is now working on Opera browser..ISU YT and..it kicked me off..

This is new! How dare they! I suppose I'll have to watch the CBC player link on the laptop instead of being able to see it on the big screen. Same with a VPN. First World problems :drama:
 
It may be new for Worlds but happens every year for Skate America and has sometimes happened for Skate Canada and "by mistake" for some other ISU events from time to time before being corrected. I don't know if this time it's deliberate on the part of CBC or is perhaps another ISU mistake. Hopefully the latter and we will soon be able to access the YouTube videos.

I can access the CBC Sports replays on my big screen and I don't even have a smart TV. What I do have is an Amazon Fire Stick, which allowed me to add their Amazon Silk internet browser app, so now I can access all the same websites I can access with my laptop.

Skate Canada and Canadians are now on Dailymotion so YT would be a mistake, but I thought YT would still be available for everything else. I don't remember ever having trouble accessing SA on YT, but I often forget these deets. It lives in my mind that everything is always available on YT :drama: (unless its Canadians or SCI).
I have Chromecast not a Fire Stick and have no idea how to browse on my tv with that. I'll look into it. Maybe there's a way.

I wish Apple would do that with Safari, I use an Apple TV box for my streaming stuff.
 
If CBC is going to have stuff Geoblocked then they need to be able to provide replay links without us finding out the results on our way to watch it!

I don't mind watching on CBC except unless there are links posted here you always find out the results before watching
