I don't think that is within NBC's control. It's probably RAI, doing the world feed.

Y'all. No matter what happens for the rest of this competition, let us remember that Lara Naki Gutmann is a freaking Olympic medalist and skated Jaws clean in front of a home crowd. THIS is why we stay with this often-ridiculous sport, for moments like these.

I like the flowy purple part of her skirt. It's a neat contrast with the edgier top part of the dress, and I think makes it more effective than if the whole costume were just black.

On a different note, I like Olga's program too and her costume is perfect for the figure skating version of Metallica.

Nice to see such a strong skate from Olga after a few years of struggling.
