The one positive is with Japan setting such a high standard, the judges will have a hard time PCSing Georgia and I don’t see the Rungarians or PerMic matching that score. It’s up to HasVol to skate well.

I thought she two-footed the landing in real-time and was shocked that it wasn't marked for review. That's some really questionable calling by the tech panel.

I like them and I want them or H/V to win, but they better not be reviewing anyone else's jumps either.

I failed to catch the replay, but she two footed and looked like she rotated a fair amount on the ice.

They need to score at least 151.24 and their SB is 149.57 so I think they can do it. But they can't make any mistakes.

I always always ALWAYS forget about the Hungarians. I couldn't for the life of me remember who the fourth pair in the final group is. I had to go look it up after envisioning a map of Europe in my head and still not landing on them.

Their PB is 149.57 from the GPF. They need 151.24 to win. If they go clean they should win. But they were robbed in favor of M/K at worlds last year so I won't be surprised if history repeats itself.

Yup - they had a PB in the SP, so the judges are clearly willing to give them all the points if they skate clean.

It was on TCM the other night. Took a look at it and was reminded why I've never watched it again after the first time. It does have some good moments, thought. Believe it or not, the staging of "ROOOOOOOXANNE" is actually very well done.

OMG literally same! I forgot that M/K weren't in the last group because I couldn't remember who the 4th team was, and then when they started skating, I remembered him commenting that they were in group 3.

I think that's probably true, but the judges sure did find an awful lot of points for MetBru in the SP. Far more than I would have expected.
