Ghilardi Ambrosini - Skating carefully to start. Nice height on the throws, though second one didn't cover much distance. Small eek moment on second lift. Loved how they maintain the theme throughout - handography always there but not distracting. Really enjoyed that.

At least it wasn't during Chan/Howe, I suppose. They're feeling very happy. TES is below ChtWoz but I'm sure they'll stay ahead of them because of the SP lead & PCS.

Ending on this slow spin while the music is racing by was a bad idea, but otherwise they skated better than they have in years.

It seems to me that pair spins have gotten worse since they started only being in the short program every other year.

My figure skating pet peeve: Death spiral to pair spin is just awful choreography, even if the pair has a beautiful death spiral or a beautiful spin (no many do, much less both) still in makes the program stop and looks clunky

Nice Spanish skate from the home team. They hit some great positions. Completely adorable at their happiness. It somehow lacks emotional impact and I feel like they are better than that.
