2026 Olys Mens FS PBP - Habemus Pop-am

And it's not Yuma's day today.

I still have no idea why he decided to add in the 4F after not going for it most of the season.

This is getting ugly. Also, did I not call it over in the Trash Can a couple weeks ago that we were going to have a shocking result in the men's competition here?
Well you also called Canada not making team final and C&B winning gold ;)

Kagiyama not just erroring, but he seems slower than usual. Now I’m wondering if the ice has gotten too warm or it’s the skate damage from the TE. I’m bummed for him. Not what we wanted to see.

Small note: damn, if I recognize this bit of Turandot, I ought to go see the damned opera.

Not the competition that Yuma would have wanted, or that many of us would have wanted for him.

SP: 103.07 = 2nd Place
-1.00 = Falls
FS: 176.99 = 6th Place
Total: 280.06 = 2nd Place

I don't think even you can call the reining world silver medalist getting a medal as a shocking result.
I'm not. I did say, though, that I thought Shun could beat Yuma for the silver medal. and I hope I'm right about a medal because this was a shitshow of a program from Yuma that doesn't deserve to beat Shun.

Poor Kagi. That 2nd half looked like work. No joy. Skates looked heavy.
