Lukas was doing so well until those last two jumping passes - feels like he just ran out of steam. It'll be close to see if he can remain ahead of Kao and his TES is dropping enough to make me think Kao will keep the lead.

Quads both looked a bit off axis to me and I was surprised when he landed them. But then step out of 3Lz and just 2Fe2T. He did get a lot of base value in despite that.

Lukas was enjoyable and showed real growth from Beijing to now. He’s fun to watch. I think some of those combo issues in the second half could be an indication he needs to do more run-throughs. He’s got basics enough that he could possibly be top 12 if he got some extra coaching/choreography and pushed himself.

My internet has finally stabilized! I missed half of Donovan, all of Kao, and all but the last of Somoliev. But I got to see the Pierogi, and that's what matters. And redemption for Lukas. In my list of skaters I hope had a beer at the bar together, I hope Kao and Lukas had a don't-belong-in-this-group shot.
