apparently CBC TV wil be joining Figure Skating in progress around 2 p.m. Eastern Time. I guess once the men's 1000m speed skating finishes - soonish

Love that the Aussies got their Olympic experience, they looked really into their program. Loved especially the softer parts, some great use of their bodies.

At least with R&J there's usually some attempt to follow the basic storyline, so that puts it in a different category than standard, modern dance lyrical snot which is basically just skating around looking alternately pretty or angsty depending on the exact music selected.

That was soft and light and quite watchable. Really sensitive to the music.

The problem is that Holly and Jason's Claire de Lune has been spliced with boring lyrical snot.

That and they do nothing with the atmosphere dissonance overlaid in the first part (ie from the "Everything..." soundtrack) unlike Shoma who really captured the mix of the Debussy softness with the glitch-y weirdness.
