2026 Olys Free Dance PBP - Whale, Are We Ready For Some Bull Sheet Scores?

You are in for a rough day, I suspect.
I've gotten used to it. When there is a skirt, it's just flashes and you can look at their hair or upper body or something. Plus, I will never type/say WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN.

Are these new costumes for Harris/Chan? I didn't watch any of the ice dance from 4CCs, so this is the first time I've seen them since the fall.

We’re in warhorse alley.
While I’m not a major fan of R&J (it’s ok), I will always listen to Claire de Lune if it’s orchestrated and played well.

I'm watching it on GEM on my TV. Kurt and Carol commentating. Sometimes, I have to search around a bit to find the live skating on Gem.

eta: I'm a little bit behind in the posts and see you have found it. Enjoy.
apparently CBC TV wil be joining Figure Skating in progress around 2 p.m. Eastern Time. I guess once the men's 1000m speed skating finishes - soonish

Carolina's Clair de Lune exhibition in 2017. :swoon:

Love that the Aussies got their Olympic experience, they looked really into their program. 😊 Loved especially the softer parts, some great use of their bodies.

also #3 of lyrical snot.
At least with R&J there's usually some attempt to follow the basic storyline, so that puts it in a different category than standard, modern dance lyrical snot which is basically just skating around looking alternately pretty or angsty depending on the exact music selected.

It’s not on any of the sportsnets or TSNs? Weird that wouldn’t show the entire event.

The problem is that Holly and Jason's Claire de Lune has been spliced with boring lyrical snot.
That and they do nothing with the atmosphere dissonance overlaid in the first part (ie from the "Everything..." soundtrack) unlike Shoma who really captured the mix of the Debussy softness with the glitch-y weirdness.

Aussies seemed a bit tentative to me, but pretty clean. I think they could skate closer together.
