OMG I love Paradis - his commitment to being exactly himself, his line, his stretch, his connection to the music, his depth. He's so unique, so truthful. The jumps will come!

I think it's because I don't necessarily expect Paradis to skate clean, but I was able to just enjoy the really beautiful moments in his program and ignore the mistakes.

Paradis skating with much more freedom today than yesterday. Despite falls and jump issues this didn't look like hard work, like it did yesterday.

The red soles are new. During the Men's short programs our commentators informed us that Anthony's coach made a deal with him that if he landed his triple axel he could have the red soles so that was just recently achieved - wonder if he loses them again now that he didn't do the 3A in either program.

Yes, Anthony is eligible for junior worlds! As are Bondar, Long, Vasii, Heiderich (jr champ), & Chan (jr silver).

So when Keegan started doubling so many jumps I thought he's now just skating an exhibition for the crowd so the first goal is to not fall and have a party with the audience - mission accomplished.

I got a bit teary during Keegs for a former part of my life. I lived in Yukon for nearly 10 years, and among other things cooked in wilderness hunting camps. It's very similar to the Alaskan sensibility evoked by this song. I'm glad he skated well.

Awwww .... the crowd loves Keegan. He bailed on a few things but had quite a few high points as well. He's certainly an entertainer. Good for him.
