Junior Women SP & FS

I I probably won’t get a chance to watch the replay before it disappears, but what the heck happened to Ellyce?

??

No, and I noticed the original posters error as well.

But my eyes for the next year are going to be on Annika, Miss Sophie’s choice and Emilia
For what? Seniors? Annika routinely gets her jumps reviewed for rotations. Unless she fixes that, she'll be happy just to make it to Nationals. Sophie Joline has a lot of work still to do on her PCS.

Just as skaters, because I have a feeling my girl won’t be around.

Annika, Miss Sophie and Emilia are the ones that seem will hold my attention.

What kind of gay pride flag is that sitting on the first row of chairs at the junior women’s program? It’s pink and light blue… Which flag is that?

Vadja

3t-turns-2t, 3z with hand down, 2a-2a-1a, fall on 3s, I find her skating appealing, too bad about the jumps

ETA: Wait, she’s lived in SVK and speaks Slovakian? She could be the athlete to be named in the Vaclavikova trade.

Iwase

Opens with high 3r with Rippon arms, 3z-3t with Rippon arms toe looked under, 3f fall, graceful movement, fall on 3z, some hot and cold today

Wilkins

3z fall, 3r, 3f fall, 3t-2a-2a, easier triples look good and harder ones aren’t fully cooked, nice energy in her performance

USFS spread the love with JGP assignments this season; Several girls in this warmup group competed there.

Coats was 13th, Samiri was 8th, Tiernan was 7th in their assignment this season. Park wasn’t sent this season, but was 11th in her JGP event in 2024.

Coats

3t, 3z-2t, think she could finish her moves more, 3f-2t, pretty steady in her jump landings, 3z-2a-2a I’d review, nice job

Samiri

3r, 3f-2r, 3z-2r, nice composition with choreography between the jumps, fantastic spins, 3s-2a-2a not a lot of distance but good height, unique style, can’t find an American lady to compare her to—but reminds me a bit of Italy’s Gutmann. Hope she keeps blazing her own interpretive path like the Italian!

Tiernan

3t-2t pitched forward, 3z, 3r, rest break, 3z-2a-2a, calm demeanor, could add more facial expression, after jumps are done, she’s beaming

Smith

3f-3t, 3r, 3z fall, nice air position in her jumps, 3z-1r . . . 3s, interested to see how panel calls that. She may have put her foot down after the Euler, held it together well as a novice skater

ETA: I don’t think that’s a sequence anymore. 3s should be a second jump box.

Liu

3t-3t nice, 3z that was all over the place in the air fall, 3f, 3r flip out, nice musical engagement 3s-2a-2t not much flow out, she’s performing that choreography sequence with conviction and confidence
