2025 NHK Trophy Free Dance PBP - Hmmm for the Weekend

Assist jumps, love how it starts the program. Second set of twizzles and once again Marco is really struggling to hold it together. It's just not there for him anymore at all. I was focusing on him mostly so I don't know what her L2 was from. She's even looking tight through some of the smaller stuff, like the twizzles on the end of their steps.

I still think they have more complexity in their programs than most others, but I do see the relative emptiness when it's not going directly into or out of elements. And when no element is in your face obvious to the music or dynamic, the GOE is going to stay lower because that's how the judging goes.

I am in no teknik, but that looked much stronger than yesterday, and they looked really committed and really happy skating it.

Guignard/Fabbri

Is he twizzling or doing running 3s, I’d like a slo-mo look, nice choreo slide move with smooth exit back to standing, secure lifts, they believe in the program and it should play well at home, got a pretty good crowd reaction here

Interesting program, oddly I got Bobrova flashbacks. I hope they get points for not using a warhorse.

Also I love Caroline’s dress.

Decent score but 9 points less than Z/K on the FD
I feel like the scores in all disciplines across all GPs have been so up and down that I don't think we'll know anything until they're all together. It's exciting to not know what will happen.

Beginning of this program is so cool. IAM did this with a few teams but I think the combo of lifts is just brilliant to the music. And I love how he flings her out of it. Once again, I hate their steps in between the first and second twizzles. Too much time, too slowed down and then she creaks her way through that set especially. At least they still get some distance :-P

And then my feed completely froze but 500 Miles is the only part of the program I really like anyway

Okay its back. Fabulous end nuance to the one foot turns, being able to stop momentum and spin in place. Also love the transition directly into the dance spin, too.

Seeing how they are the masters of the choreographic elements, I think they still have a shot getting onto the podium even with FB/C now there.

That was pretty fun though it is still astonishingly obvious that he's doing everything interesting about the actual skating. This is the first program I've seen in years that I think I'm actually going to have to send to my brother. He's a sucker for Scottish music.
