For some reason, I'm going to NOT go with conventional wisdom and I have KamO third. I know it's not a huge leap between KamO & PereiraMichaud but I rarely stray from rankings/scores especially at Skate Canada with a Canadian skater/team in the mix for the podium. Lol.

While I do believe that Kam & O'Shea have higher scoring potential, I ended up going w/Pereira & Michaud for the bronze here. Ellie just looked a hot mess to me at Trialeti Trophy. Right now I have more confidence in Pereira & Michaud getting it together.

I prefer K/O but it's almost a given she's gonna go down on at least one throw and there'll probably be a mistake on at least one SBS jump whereas P/M tend to be more stable, so I voted for them. Would love to be proven wrong though!

of course they could be well enough, or hoping to be well enough. but the devil on my shoulder says they wouldnt want to w/d in time for another team for reasons. so we'll see. I will be back later with snacks and snark!

That was Kam & O'Shea's best FS performance in the last 11 months, if not ever! I don't ever remember her landing both of her throws that close to cleanly!! What progress since Trialeti! I'm afraid that the heat they put on was, sadly, way too much for Pereira & Michaud to handle.
