Just had enough time to be a domestic goddess and do some dishes and get some caffeine and am not ready to be put back to sleep by the ladiezzzz.

This first group of women may very likely put me to zzzz seeing how early it is here on the west coast.

Getting her legs back for this program. I like both programs better this year than last but the music almost screams for Pinzarrone, who I'm going to very much miss on the GP this season.

Switzerland has a plethora of strong juniors coming up also from the same camp as Kaiser trains in. She's not keeping up.

Of course that was not the program she wanted and one can see that she is still not totally confident on the ice but that was a huge step up from yesterday.

Livia Kaiser 🇨🇭

It's clear that she is still hampered by the injury, or by lack of training time as a result of the injury.

-1.00 = Falls
-1.00 = Time Violation
92.53 = 1st Place
134.83 = 1st Place

Kaiser looks under-trained since her injury, which is understandable. At least this was better than her SP.

This dress is pretty in close-up but doesn't read at a distance on camera.

Mayindu really knows how to capture a mood. And I love this version of "Ne me quittez pas". It feels soulful instead of the GFB slop we see and hear so much.

I haven't gone back to watch her performances here last year, but I'm pretty sure the basics have taken a big step forward. In the beginning I noticed the flow and speed between the first few jumping elements seemed to be quite good and the posture seems stronger.

Jump technique is still all over the place and she gets really loose before she hits the ice for the landings. Almost always. The choreographic step was REALLY half-baked, too.
