For those trying to toggle between Nepela & Nebelhorn RDs this morning -

I was just looking at the detailed time schedules and no, you're not correct.

Here's what we've got between the two over the next hour and a half -

17:35 - GreenP - Nepela
17:42 - WolfKost - Nepela
17:55 - SmaDie - Nepela
17:59 - FearGib - Nebelhorn
18:18 - DupNab - Nebelhorn
18:21 - LopBri - Nepela
18:27 - DemLeM - Nepela
18:38 - CarPon - Nebelhorn
18:54 - PiriHara - Nepela
19:08 - Taschlers - Nepela

Holy cow... the teams in this first group are DEFINITELY bringing the costumes.

Caroline's dress is a very '90s color palette and Michael's shirt matches.

And they keep starting the wrong music for GreenP. Will the 3rd time be a charm?

GreenP - Caroline's twizzles were called a L1, but I'm not sure why. In some regards, I feel like this was slow-ish, but I liked a lot of the choreo & flourishes that felt very '90s-esque.

Scores are taking FOREVER.

TES - 38.85
PCS - 32.92
Total - 71.77 - ouch

WolfKost - Katarina - botched her 2nd twizzle - called L2. Not bad. Just one of the multitude of Backstreet Boys RDs we'll get this season. I'm guessing this will beat GreenP, if only because of Caroline's twizzle call.

TES - 40.29
PCS - 31.79
Total - 72.08

Okay, scores coming in for VerVG - and we'll get SmaDie just before FearGib - FearGib will be skating while we're waiting for SmaDie's scores.

SmaDie - leg lines aren't quite matched on the 1st twizzles but both L4; Olivia's perfectly matched blonde ponytail (her hair is NOT that long, lol) is amazing. Overall, it felt a little slow again. Using their FD lift where she's balanced on his back with her leg extended over his shoulder. Not bad, not great. Just another lame '90s RD offering.

TES - 40.78
PCS - 33.66
Total - 74.44

After the first of 3 groups:
1 Olivia SMART / Tim DIECK ESP 74.44 40.78 33.66 8.35 8.60 8.35 0.00 #4
2 Katarina WOLFKOSTIN / Dimitry TSAREVSKI USA 72.08 40.29 31.79 7.90 8.20 7.80 0.00 #2
3 Caroline GREEN / Michael PARSONS USA 71.77 38.85 32.92 8.25 8.30 8.20 0.00 #1
4 Chelsea VERHAEGH / Sherim van GEFFEN NED 54.07 30.06 24.01 6.20 6.00 5.85 0.00 #3

LopBri - Evgenia biffs her twizzles - L1 - but better speed than the top teams in the 1st group, so there's that. Another '90s RD that doesn't really stand out. TES is lower than SmaDie and WolfKos - ouch.

TES - 38.44
PCS - 33.65
Total - 72.09 - BARELY ahead of WolfKos - yikes!

DemLeM - please explain to me how these costumes scream '90s... They're nice enough, but I'm not feeling much of a '90s vibe about them. Skating is fine enough - no major errors. Their TES is the highest by a wide margin, though I can't quite figure out why. French ice dance is maybe about to be shooooook again. TES dropped a lot on review - by about 4 points... Yeah, can't have quite THAT much of a shake-up in French ice dance this early in the season, lol. These scores are taking FOREVER.

TES - 39.73
PCS - 32.99
Total - 72.72 - ahead of LopBri!

PiriHara - well, they hit their twizzles - another Spice Girls RD for the day. Not super-fast, but the speed is okay compared to the rest of the teams. This choreo step seq is kind of slogging though. TES is alright - we'll see what the judges do with their PCS to keep them behind the top teams who've underperformed today.

TES - 40.40
PCS - 31.38
Total - 71.78 - ahead of GreenP!

Tech skills aside, I feel like the Fun Finns are doing a better job reflecting the energy and character of the Spice Girls than F/G at this point.

Nepela is running late, btw, and I really hope that the Taschlers are done & scored by the time my 2nd round job interview starts in 15 min. Should be, but this is annoying. I expected to have the streams off by now, ready to log in to Teams, lol.

Oh wow! Good luck with your interview. May you get the money and job you desire!

Okay, time for the Taschlers! Her costume designer is clearly mad at her because this is a most unflattering dress. Natalie's agreeing with the rest of the girls that L2 twizzles are the twizzles of the day! Honestly, I can kind of understand why most teams have waited to make their RD music announcements. Most are just so meh. TES is higher than everyone, but we'll see what happens on review... Oh, looks like the tech panel upgraded Natalie's twizzles to L4 - TES may hold and is about 2.5 points higher than SmaDie... Now, what happens with PCS?

TES - 43.36
PCS - 33.19
Total - 76.55 - into 1st by 2 points!

GreenP both missing their levels on the twizzles - L2 each. Hate this music they're using for their FD. I don't see this beating ZingKol - and who knows what the Shibs will look like whenever they finally debut.

Yea, it didn't keep my attention at all. Dang it, they are good skaters
